Who We Are

At Harbor Life, we’re committed to helping people find their way back to God. We believe in bringing together people from every walk of life to build communities of belonging centered on Jesus.

Communities of Belonging

We believe belonging comes first. Before anything else, we want people to know they have a place here; to be known, welcomed, and part of a community. From that place of belonging, we grow together in faith, centered on Jesus. We believe He is the way to deepest meaning, the truth in a world full of questions, and the source of abundant and eternal life. Everything we do flows from who He is and how He leads us.

Formed and Sent

As we follow Jesus, we are continually being shaped by Him. Our character, our priorities, and the way we live. But that transformation isn’t just for us. We’re sent into our everyday lives to love our neighbors, serve with purpose, and reflect the Good News through both our words and actions. We believe the message of Jesus is not just something we believe, but something we live, bringing truth, grace, and hope into the world around us.

Going Deeper

We believe faith is a journey, not a one-time decision. Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus walking with His disciples guiding them step by step as they grow in understanding, purpose, and trust. In the same way, we’re committed to helping people take meaningful next steps in their faith, wherever they are starting from. As we grow, we also go deeper, engaging the questions, doubts, and truths that shape our lives. We believe the Bible speaks to the deepest questions we still ask, and we’re committed to

Our Beliefs

  • Our Foundation

At Harbor Life, we believe the Bible tells one true story - from beginning to end - of a God who creates, rescues, and restores.¹

  • The Beginning

In the beginning, God created a good and beautiful world, made in love and for love.² Humanity was formed in God’s image to live in relationship with Him and each other.³ But we turned away, choosing our own way over God’s, and brokenness entered the world.⁴

  • God’s Promise & Faithfulness

Yet God did not give up. He called a people - starting with Abraham - to bless the world and be a light to the nations.⁵ Through Israel’s story, we see God’s faithfulness even in the face of human failure.⁶

  • Jesus & Redemption

In the fullness of time, God sent Jesus - His Son, fully God and fully human.⁷ Jesus lived the life we couldn’t live, died the death we deserved, and rose again to defeat sin and death.⁸ In Him, we see the clearest picture of who God is and what love looks like.⁹

  • The Holy Spirit & the Church

After Jesus returned to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and comfort us.¹⁰ The Spirit gathers us into a new family - people from every nation and background - called to live differently, loving God and loving others.¹¹ We are called to be people of hope, healing, justice, and grace, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God in both word and action.¹²

  • Restoration & Hope

We believe the story isn’t over. One day, Jesus will return to make all things new.¹³ Our church is part of this ongoing story. We don’t have it all figured out, but we’re on the journey together, following Jesus and helping others find their way back to God.¹⁴ We trust God’s Word to guide us, His Spirit to lead us, and His love to change us.¹⁵
